‘Morning Mist at Mishima’ after Utagawa Hiroshige fine woodblock print. Utagawa Hiroshige (歌川 広重) (Andō Hiroshige) 1797-1858, Japanese ukiyo-e artist. Hiroshige is best known for his landscapes, such as the series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō and The Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Kaidō. A beautifully coloured reproduction woodblock print which is bright with unfaded colours, the image printed on a laid paper sheet size; 19 cm x 11 cm (7½ x 4¼ ins ) Signed in the image. Mounted within its original mount and unframed, the condition of the image and sheet is good with handling marks condusive with age.
